Great food, great atmosphere, great guests and great beer! The service was very courteous, friendly and on the ball. Lovely again :)

The rooms are nice, clean and big. The dinner was not really good, the guest rooms are very, very cold! Suddenly a day of rest was introduced, which was not there 4 weeks in advance when booking. Absolutely unsuitable for vegans (I stated when making the reservation that I would like suitable milk or breakfast options). On the first day of breakfast I was told by a very unfriendly waitress that the comment field was ignored (you get really hostile if you don't eat everything), on the second day the waitress was really very friendly and apologized with a beer. Thanks to her I give 2 stars, otherwise it would only have been one. Too bad.

We were there 6 times on vacation and are absolutely thrilled by the nice staff and the environment. The quality of the food is very good and the home-brewed beer is unparalleled in this beer district. There are beautiful hikes that we gladly started or completed here. Again any time. Thanks to the whole team.

I would want to give - 5 points if it were possible. You are simply not welcome if you are not from the region.

More than a week ago, seats were reserved for 20 people. On the agreed day, the reservation was canceled by the restaurant early in the morning for no reason. No tables were assigned when asked. On the contrary, you were driven out, so to speak. If possible I would give 0 stars. Outrageous.

Delicious beer and a nice terrace. Nice stopover.

Unfortunately, the staff turned out to be very inflexible. We wanted to eat something with a group of 6 people. Nobody asked us at the entrance if we would like to sit outside. We were split between two tables inside as there was no free space outside. From inside we could see how tables were constantly being vacated outside. Despite being asked, we weren't allowed to sit outside together at a table. Unfortunately no menu was offered and asked if we would like to eat something. It's a shame.

Cozy, wonderfully renovated rooms, friendly guests, home-style cooking and great beer! We were here two years ago and can only say, even better than then! We would recommend anytime.

A big disappointment for the otherwise outstanding Franconian cuisine. Everything tasted more like ordinary frozen goods. Plus, we never really felt welcome during our stay. The landlord looked annoyed and bored. What a shame

Room, beer garden, food and beer very good! Corona measures implemented in an exemplary manner! Friendly, personable staff! We have been coming for more than 5 years and would love to come back. Here you can relax and unwind (even during Xorona)

My son and I went over the weekend and did the beer hike. We stayed here at the inn. The boss made a brewery tour followed by a tasting, which was very informative and delicious. The beers are great, the food is really good and the boss and all employees are absolutely friendly. The rooms are very clean and the hygiene regulations were implemented in an exemplary manner.

Beer and food are good. The best of the whole beer hike. But why is the service so unfriendly? They only make sales because the beer hikers come by. One could also approach the clientele in a more friendly manner ...

For me the worst brewery on the Aufseßer Bierwanderweg. You feel little invited and the wait staff are reserved rather than hospitable. Brauereigasthof is the most modern of the 4 and looks a bit bourgeois and sophisticated.

Changing daily specials, cozy beer garden. Hot dishes also after 2 p.m. on Saturday.

Was OK. In our view, the third best of the four brewery inns on the path. The beer was good, the wait staff tried but the food fell off a bit. The least we liked both inside and outside. Here there was a lack of charm and cosiness.

Always made the experience of good food, especially trout freshly prepared as miller's or blue. Always friendly service and attractive beer card. Likewise, there are also carp in the "r" months. Parking is available in front of the house in large numbers. Likewise, it is beautifully located in the valley of Aufseß. Only the certain authenticity of some dishes is already missing since tourism is the focus. In sum, however, a constant size in the region.

Super scenically situated brewpub in the shadow of a hilltop castle! Took countless photos of it before finally getting to dry their wares. Generally, this is a short stop en route to visit my wife's family but did a 100 mile 4 day hike that brought me right there here early one morning and wouldn't you know it, this place opens at like 8:00! :) Had already eaten a sizeable breakfast but their menu looked amazing as was their very tasty Dunkles. Hope to stay here one night so I can enjoy the rest of their beer portfolio and get to have a big meal, too.

Very cool place. Great beer brewed right there. Nice location right to the Aufsess creek, with beautiful outside seating. The food is authentic franconian with inspiration thrown in. Very friendly and attentive service.

The Festbier is amazing. Wish they had it from tap.
